Sony puts an end to Pandoras Battery?

When Pandoras Battery was released it seemed as doom day for Sony, an ultimate downgrading/unbricking machine for every PSP and PSP Slim coming from Homebrew community. But it seems Sony has played another move in silence, to stop Homebrew community. As British DCEMU reports, Sony released new, updated batteries to the market, which prevent conversion to Pandoras Battery.

Guys at DCEMU have received new battery from Amazon, and when they tried to convert it to Pandoras Battery, conversion process - failed! Apparently Sony made changes to electronics contained within the battery to prevent any conversion. No apparent differences between “old” and “new” battery was apparent untill DCEMU guys noticed that “new” batteries are manufactured in Japan instead of China.
