Fancy a preview? Warhammer 40000: Squad Command!

Newest release from THQ will be hitting PSP by the end of the year, and by the looks of it, it will be a serious hit. For strategy lovers at least. If you ever had a chance to play Warhammer 40000 you know what to expect. Blood, gore and serious amount of destruction, and it seems that THQ and developers Red Lynx are not set to disappoint anyone. Few weeks ago we have reported about the upcoming Warhammer 40000: Squad Command, and not so far away from the official release, a more detailed preview of the game is before you.

In the futuristic environment of Ruhr III planet, war is raging on between Ultramarine troops and Chaos Space Marines. You will be commanding Ultramarine squad of six soldiers, and your orders are simple: Destroy Chaos Space Marines. Set across three different types of terrain, industrial, desert and ice, you will be completing missions in the name of the Emperor. Your missions will range from capturing an area, taking out an objective or simply crushing all enemy in your path to glory.

Squad at your disposal is customizable, just like the soldiers in it, and it will represent the key to your strategy. Enemies will not be standing by waiting to become cannon meat but will act tactically provoking and returning fire. And at your disposal you will have a wide range of weapons, familiar to the Warhammer 40000 series will surely recognize Bolter and Chain Sword. Game is turn based both in single player and multiplayer modes, and relies on strategic thinking instead of brute force (which can be implemented when everything else fails). Game will also include Game Sharing mode with the limited version of the game.
