Is Sony Media Manager for PSP really free?
You probably by now know that Sony’s official application for all your PSP media needs is Media Manager, which unfortunately had a nifty price tag attached to it. If you noticed the appropriate use of past-tense you will not be surprised that Sony Japan decided to remove all price tags and distribute Media Manager application free of charge. And in the process made it available on English!
It would be great if it all would be so simple, but it isn’t. What happened is that Sony made two versions of Media Manager, and offered only one for free. You probably guessed it, free version does not have all the functionalities that you would expect of it. Media Manager PRO on the other hand does have everything expected, but has - you guessed it - a price tag.
So there you have it. Media Manager is finally free. And it will NOT convert, resize, enhance, improve, optimize or do anything else regarding your media, but it will copy it to your PSP, and with some very nice screens involved. Downside of it - yourself can do the same with the aid of your favorite file manager.
If you like Media Manager more than your favorite file manager, you can download English version from here.
