Sony patches PSP motherboard to prevent Pandora’s Battery creation

In a ongoing war between Homebrew community and Sony, the latter has made a new move. It seems that electronics giant has patched new version of PSP motherboard dubbed TA-82 v2 not to allow the creation of the Homebrew community biggest hits so far - Pandora’s Battery.

So far, it has been reported that Sony’s patch is just preventing the creation of Pandora’s Battery, but it can be used on the PSP device with the TA-82 v2 patched motherboard.

This is a second move on the Pandora’s Battery that Sony has made so far. Back in the September 2007, Sony has tried to put a stop on the Pandora’s Battery by releasing patched batteries, which prevented their conversion to Pandora’s Battery.
