Worms: Open Warfare 2, downloadable content
If you’re getting tired of killing worm after worm on same landscapes with same sounds and looking at the same flags, THQ’s got you covered. On every second Friday, THQ will be releasing more and more downloadable content for Open Warfare 2. On the first update, THQ released new flags containing Yin Yan, Shotgun, Victory, UFO, Pointing and Peace, and also new landscapes including Winter, Tugboat, Robot and Race. To get all this downloadable goodness, all you need to do is to hook up your PSP to nearby WiFi HotSpot, and access downloads directly from Worms: Open Warfare 2.

Demo - Worms: Open Warfare 2
New version of your favorite kill-a-worm game is out in the stores. W:OW2 should improve W:OW in almost every aspect. New game engine, more destructive weapons, more single player modes, and support for multiplayer infrastructure mode. W:OW2 offers personalization and tweaking options of your crawling team of killers, and a in-game shop for purchasing new tweaking options, where credits are earned by completing campaigns and all new puzzle missions. W:OW2 for the PSP will also have some exclusive features over the W:OW2 for the other systems.

IGN, director Martyn Brown
“With the PSP version, each user can upload a number of their custom created landscapes to be stored on the game’s server, and those landscapes can then be downloaded by other users at any time. The PSP version also has extended community features, enabling players to form clans and compete against other clans, as well as send messages to other players who are connected to the game server (aka WormNet).”
While some of us cant wait to get their hands on W:OW2, THQ obviously had understanding for this agonizing feeling we’re having and decided to release a playable demo. Demo is 4MB big, and if you’re unsure how to install and run it from your PSP, head to our How to install a PSP game demo to your PSP tutorial.
