Simpsons and Spider-Man limited editions of PSP Slim, a peek

At Leipzig, Sony has announced two limited editions of PSP Slim, which will be released along side with the official PSP Slim in Europe. Allegedly, the devices will be customized for Simpsons and Spider-Man. Bundles, simmilar to Daxter Entertainment Pack will include customized PSP with the either Simpsons or Spider-Man 2 game. Only thing that Sony didn’t do then is to release photographs of the devices, but that has been corrected, and you now can see how that two PSP Slims will look like. To be completely honest - plain yellow and red PSP Slims, they look cool or at least yellow one does, but to call them customized versions? Not quite. The God Of War: Chains of Olympus is customized, those two … just lack imagination. Below you can see the full gallery of customized PSPs.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe - the Game for everyone

Our friendly neighbor is coming back to the PSP, and almost every other gaming platform that currently exists (PS3 is not included unfortunately). Friend or Foe will feature a “original - take over the world” plot according to Activision, which also decided to make the game so easy to play that you’ll only have to use three buttons. It seems that Activision is dedicated to creating the easiest playing superhero-colorful-adventure-game, with world’s most original plot.

Our original concept is that we wanted to make a game that people could just do simple three-hit combos until they were blue in the face.

Even tough Spider-Man: Friend or Foe, seems like another one of kiddie games, there will be few interesting innovations that Activision is also dedicated to feature in the game:

• Choose a sidekick from your allies
  Pick from a long list of Spider-Man’s allies like Blade™, Ironfist™ and Prowler™, and swap between sidekicks at any time. Spider-Man and any chosen sidekick can unleash lethal combos against opponents.
• Fight against movie villains, then alongside them
  Face off against infamous movie villains using an innovative combat system. Combat Doc Ock in his lab, Sandman in a construction site, and Green Goblin on the rooftop of Oscorp. Then turn bad guys into good. Once defeated, they become your sidekicks.
• Team up in two-player co-op
  Share the fun with a friend or sibling! One of you plays Spider-Man and the other controls one of Spider-Man’s powerful sidekicks. You can play Co-operatively through every world, area and level. Team up to accomplish more powerful moves that will blow away the villains.
• Come back for more, again and again
  Replay each chapter with a different sidekick and eventually with Black-Suited Spider-Man™. Unlock additional characters such as New Goblin™ and Silver Sable™. Fight in diverse worlds, from an island jungle and a New York training ground to Transylvania and Nepal.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is actually just a, really simple game, giving a chance to a friend and a foe (or another friend) to play as Spider-Man and wallop robots. That ain’t so bad now, is it?
